Adrammelech Son of Sennacherib is a biblical person named as one of Sennacherib’s sons in the account of Sennacherib’s death at 2 Kings 19:37. While Sennacherib was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him down with a sword and escaped to the land of Ararat; Esarhaddon then became king in Sennacherib’s place. The parallel account also names Adrammelech in this event at Isaiah 37:38. His name occurs in at least 2 verses across 2 books.
