Genesis names Adah as Elon’s daughter and records that she bore Eliphaz to Esau.
Adah in the Bible is the Genesis woman named among the wives Esau took from the daughters of Canaan; the same verse calls her “Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite” (Genesis 36:2). In Genesis 36:4, the passage states that Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau (Genesis 36:4). These references identify Elon as her father, Esau as her spouse, and Eliphaz as her son. Her name occurs in at least 2 verses in Genesis.
