   All three occurrences use the same masculine plural construct noun form within the tree scene. In Daniel 4:23 the APB renders the command to cut down the tree while leaving “the stump of its roots in the earth”; Daniel 4:12 and Daniel 4:20 continue the description of that tree and its growth.
