Name in the goat-lot and sending ritual · dominant
In Leviticus 16:8, the noun marked Proper occurs in the clause assigning one of two lots. In Leviticus 16:10 the APB renders the goat as sent "to Azazel into the wilderness," and Leviticus 16:26 again identifies the goat's sender in that same destination phrase.
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB retains the name "Azazel" in all three verses, presenting it in the lot assignment and in the goat's sending.
