In 2 Kings 6:25, the singular construct noun occurs in the report that a fourth of a kab was sold amid the famine in Samaria; the APB renders the commodity "dove's dung." In 2 Kings 18:27, the plural construct form occurs in Rabshakeh's statement about men sitting on the wall; the APB renders them as forced "to eat their dove-dung."
