Both occurrences are marked Noun · Proper. In Daniel 1:7 the form occurs in the clause where the ruler of the eunuchs gives Daniel this name; in Daniel 10:1 it identifies Daniel in the report of a revealed word and vision. The APB renders the clauses “he called Daniel Belteshazzar” and “Daniel, who was called Belteshazzar.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the name as assigned to Daniel in Daniel 1:7 and as a name by which Daniel was called in Daniel 10:1. These renderings follow whole-verse translations rather than word alignment.
