Beth-eked
bet e.qed is a proper place-name marking the location where Jehu travels and where captives are killed.
The two attestations use the term as a proper place-name: it marks a location on the way to Samaria and identifies the pit where the seized men were slaughtered.

Both occurrences are tagged Noun · Proper. In 2 Kings 10:12 the APB renders Jehu as being “at Beth-eked of the Shepherds on the way,” while in 2 Kings 10:14 it renders the captives as slaughtered “at the pit of Beth-eked.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the name as “Beth-eked of the Shepherds” in 2 Kings 10:12 and “Beth-eked” within “the pit of Beth-eked” in 2 Kings 10:14. These phrases show the verse-level presentation rather than isolating each element of the original form.
