a.ziq.qim refers to restraints binding a captive and later removed from his hands.

The term denotes physical restraints in the account of Jeremiah’s captivity: he is bound among exiles in Jeremiah 40:1, and the restraints on his hands are removed in Jeremiah 40:4.

   Both occurrences are masculine plural absolute nouns. In Jeremiah 40:1 the APB renders Jeremiah as being bound "in chains" among captives being taken to Babylon; in Jeremiah 40:4 it renders restraints "on your hands" from which he is released.
