Adoram
a.do.ram is a personal name borne by the official placed over forced labor in two narrative notices.
The attested use is a personal name: in both notices, the named person is identified as being over forced labor; one account also reports that he was sent by King Rehoboam and stoned to death.

Both occurrences are tagged Noun · Proper. In 2 Samuel 20:24 the APB renders the clause “Adoram was over the forced labor,” while in 1 Kings 12:18 it renders King Rehoboam sending him, “who was in charge of the forced labor,” before reporting that all Israel stoned him to death.
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the term as “Adoram” in both verses and describes the named person in connection with forced labor. The surrounding title description should not be treated as a separate rendering of the name.
