1. A thousand-unit measure · dominant

   The forms modify temporal measures in 2 Peter 3:8, where the APB renders a comparison between one day and a thousand years; in Revelation 11:3 the APB renders a period of “one thousand two hundred sixty days.” In Revelation 20:2, Revelation 20:3, and Revelation 20:4, the neuter plural forms occur with years marking the duration of binding, its completion, and reigning; Revelation 14:20 uses the genitive plural form in a distance stated in stadia.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB commonly presents the quantity as “a thousand years” or “one thousand two hundred sixty days,” and renders the distance in Revelation 14:20 as “one thousand six hundred stadia.” These English phrases reflect the clauses' measures.
