Dispute over relative greatness · dominant
In Luke 22:24, the nominative singular feminine form identifies the dispute that arose among them concerning which of them should be regarded as greatest; the APB renders the verse, “A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: In Luke 22:24, the APB presents the verse as “A dispute also arose among them” over who was to be regarded as greatest. It does not isolate the lemma from the rest of the clause.
