   In 2 Timothy 3:2, the nominative masculine plural form stands among descriptions of humans who will be selfish, braggarts, arrogant, blasphemous, ungrateful, and unholy; the APB renders the list with “money-loving.” In Luke 16:14, the same form describes the Pharisees as they listen and ridicule him; the APB renders them “lovers of money.”
