   In Matthew 11:25 and Luke 10:21, the genitive plural form occurs in the group described alongside “the wise,” from whom “these things” are hidden and to whom children are contrasted. In 1 Corinthians 1:19, the same plural form belongs to those whose understanding is rejected; Acts 13:7 uses the dative singular form for a man who summons Barnabas and Saul and seeks to hear the word of God.
