Strebloo describes the act of mishandling difficult writings in a way that leads to destruction.

Its sole attested use describes ignorant and unstable people acting upon difficult material in the writings so that the result is their own destruction.

   In 2 Peter 3:16, the present active indicative plural form occurs of ignorant and unstable people in relation to matters that are hard to understand in the epistles and other writings. The APB renders the clause "which the ignorant and unstable distort, as they do also the other writings, to their own destruction."
