The attested uses name a place: in Luke 23:43 it is where the hearer will be with Jesus; in 2 Corinthians 12:4 it is entered in a catching-up experience; and in Revelation 2:7 it is specified as belonging to God and containing the wood of life.

   The dative singular form occurs in Luke 23:43 in the statement that the hearer will be with Jesus; the APB renders the clause "today you will be with me in paradise." In Revelation 2:7, the same form identifies the location of the wood of life as belonging to God; the APB renders "which is in the paradise of God." The accusative singular in 2 Corinthians 12:4 names the place into which someone was caught up and where inexpressible declarations were heard.

In the Anselm Project Bible: Across all three verses, the APB uses "paradise" for the place named in statements about being with Jesus, being caught up, and the wood of life. This repeated English wording confirms the verse-level presentation rather than a finer lexical distinction.
