Musia names the place reached, passed by, or approached in the travel narrative of Acts 16.

The attested form identifies a place in Acts 16:7 and Acts 16:8: travelers come to it, then pass by it on their way toward Troas.

1. Place in a travel route · dominant

   In Acts 16:7, the accusative singular form occurs where the travelers had come to the place before attempting to go into Bithynia; the APB renders the clause “When they had come to Mysia.” In Acts 16:8, the same form occurs as they pass by the place and go down to Troas; the APB renders “So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas.”

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the term as “Mysia” in both verses, first as the place the travelers had come to and then as the place they passed by. The verse is read as a whole.
