The two occurrences depict removal into another land: God moves Abraham into the land where the audience lives in Acts 7:4, and a future removal into exile is announced in Acts 7:43.

   In Acts 7:4, the aorist active indicative form occurs in the clause where God moves Abraham into the land where the audience lives; the APB renders the clause "God removed him into this land where you now live." In Acts 7:43, the future active indicative form announces a coming removal beyond Babylon, and the APB renders it "I will send you into exile beyond Babylon."

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the action as God having "removed" Abraham in Acts 7:4 and as a future sending "into exile" in Acts 7:43. These phrases describe the clauses rather than fixed English renderings of the term.
