libanotos is the object an angel holds, receives incense with, and fills with fire from the altar.

The two attestations show the same concrete object in an angel's actions: it is held while incense is given in Revelation 8:3 and then filled with fire from the altar in Revelation 8:5.

   Both occurrences are accusative singular masculine forms within actions of an angel. In Revelation 8:3 the APB renders the angel as having "a golden censer" while incense is given to him; in Revelation 8:5 it renders the angel taking that object, filling it with fire from the altar, and casting it to the earth.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the object as "a golden censer" in Revelation 8:3 and as "the censer" in Revelation 8:5. These renderings occur in whole-verse translations.
