The accusative singular form marks a destination in Acts 13:4 and Acts 15:39, while Acts 21:3 and Acts 27:4 place it in sea-navigation clauses: the APB renders ships as having “sighted Cyprus,” leaving it on the left, and sailing “under the lee of Cyprus.”

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB consistently presents the term as “Cyprus” in place and voyage descriptions, including travel “to Cyprus,” sighting it, and sailing under its lee. These renderings confirm the clauses' geographic setting rather than establish finer distinctions.
