   The aorist active indicative form κατέχεεν describes the woman's action with an alabaster jar: in Mark 14:3 the APB renders that she broke the jar and “poured it on his head,” and in Matthew 26:7 it renders that she “poured it on his head” while he reclined.

In the Anselm Project Bible: Across both verses, the APB presents the action as “poured it on his head.” The verse is read as a whole, but both clauses depict the same ointment-pouring action.
