   In Acts 7:5, the accusative singular form occurs in the promise to give land to a man and his offspring; the APB renders the clause "to give it to him as a possession." In Acts 7:45, the dative singular form occurs when the fathers enter with Joshua as nations are taken; the APB renders "when they took possession of the nations."
