   The present passive participles in Acts 10:11 and Acts 11:5 describe a sheet-like vessel in a downward movement; the APB renders it as “lowered upon the earth by four corners” and “being let down by its four corners from heaven.” The aorist active indicatives in Acts 9:25 and Luke 5:19 describe people carrying out the downward action: the APB renders a man brought down in a basket through a wall and another brought down with his bed through the roof tiles.

In the Anselm Project Bible: Across the verses, the APB uses “lowered” and “let down” for the downward movement of a vessel or a person. These renderings confirm the verse-level action rather than assigning a separate English equivalent in every clause.
