Zeus, Dis names the figure applied to Barnabas and named in the title of a priest with a temple outside the city.

The two occurrences name the same figure: Barnabas is called by this name in Acts 14:12, and a priest and temple are identified by it in Acts 14:13.

   In Acts 14:12, the accusative singular form occurs as Barnabas is called Zeus; the APB renders the clause, "They called Barnabas Zeus." In Acts 14:13, the genitive singular form identifies "The priest of Zeus" and his temple outside the city as he brings bulls and garlands intending sacrifice.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB explicitly uses "Zeus" in both verses: as the name given to Barnabas in Acts 14:12 and in "The priest of Zeus" in Acts 14:13. The verse is read as a whole, but both clauses clearly retain the name.
