Endoxazomai describes being glorified, whether in holy ones at his coming or in believers.

The two occurrences present a single use: being glorified in relation to Christ's coming among his holy ones and to the Lord Jesus' name being glorified in believers.

1. Being glorified in persons · dominant

   In 2 Thessalonians 1:10, the aorist passive infinitive occurs in the clause about his coming in holy ones; the APB renders the clause "when he comes to be glorified in his holy ones." In 2 Thessalonians 1:12, the aorist passive subjunctive occurs in the purpose clause concerning the name of the Lord Jesus and believers; the APB renders "the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him."

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB uses "be glorified" in 2 Thessalonians 1:10 and "may be glorified" in 2 Thessalonians 1:12. These render the clauses rather than establish a finer distinction for the term.
