The attested use points to a location already specified or in view: Tyre as the place of unloading in Acts 21:3 and Damascus as the destination where people are found in Acts 22:5.

   In Acts 21:3, the adverb occurs with the ship’s arrival at Tyre and its unloading of cargo; the APB renders the clause with “there.” In Acts 22:5, it occurs in the account of going toward Damascus to bring people found at that location bound to Jerusalem; the APB again says “there.”

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB uses “there” in both cited verses, for the unloading at Tyre in Acts 21:3 and for the people at Damascus in Acts 22:5. These renderings confirm the verses’ locational setting rather than isolate the term mechanically.
