Hebrew
Hebraios identifies people as Hebrews, used in group contrast and in statements of personal identity or lineage.
The attested verses use the term to identify Hebrews: a group distinguished from Hellenists in Acts 6:1 and a personal or collective identity claimed alongside Israelite and Abrahamic descent in 2 Corinthians 11:22 and Philippians 3:5.

In Acts 6:1, the accusative plural occurs in the complaint of the Hellenists against the Hebrews, whom the APB presents as the group whose widows were involved in the daily service. In 2 Corinthians 11:22, the nominative plural stands in the repeated comparison, “They are Hebrews, and so am I”; in Philippians 3:5, the nominative singular and plural occur in “a Hebrew of Hebrews” within a personal ancestry statement.
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB uses “Hebrews” in Acts 6:1 and 2 Corinthians 11:22, and “a Hebrew of Hebrews” in Philippians 3:5. These renderings occur within whole-verse translations.
