In Luke 1:1, the accusative singular form occurs as the object of many people’s attempt to arrange an account concerning events fulfilled among the speakers. The APB renders the clause, "many have attempted to arrange a narrative about the things fulfilled among us,".
In the Anselm Project Bible: In Luke 1:1, the APB presents the clause with "arrange a narrative" about fulfilled events. Its wording cannot isolate the term’s precise English equivalent.
