aphedron denotes the place into which what passes through the body is expelled.

The two attestations use the term for the destination of food after it has passed through the body: in each saying, what enters by the mouth goes through the stomach or belly and is expelled there.

1. Destination of bodily expulsion · dominant

   The accusative singular masculine form occurs as the endpoint of movement in both sayings. In Mark 7:19 the APB renders food as going into the belly and then “out into the latrine”; in Matthew 15:17 it renders what enters the mouth as passing into the stomach and being “expelled into the latrine.”

In the Anselm Project Bible: In both verses the APB presents the term with “latrine” as the destination of bodily expulsion. The surrounding wording describes the whole clause rather than isolating the term independently.
