Aproskopos describes being free from causing offense or from blame in conduct before others and God.

The three occurrences present aproskopos as conduct that does not cause offense and is without blame: toward Jews, Greeks, and God’s assembly; in maintaining a conscience before God and people; and in being pure and blameless.

1. Conduct free from offense or blame · dominant

   In 1 Corinthians 10:32, the nominative plural masculine form occurs in the instruction concerning Jews, Greeks, and God’s assembly; the APB renders the clause, “Give no offense.” In Acts 24:16, the accusative singular feminine form is connected with taking pains for a clear conscience before God and man, while Philippians 1:10 uses the nominative plural masculine form in the aim of being “pure and blameless.”
