Judah assembled to seek the LORD, with people coming from its cities for that purpose.
The Bible says that Judah assembled to seek the LORD, as people came from all the cities of Judah for that purpose (2 Chronicles 20:4). People from all the tribes of Israel who set their heart to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem to sacrifice (2 Chronicles 11:16). Judah was commanded to seek the LORD and do the instruction and commandment (2 Chronicles 14:4). A covenant was made to seek the LORD with all heart and soul (2 Chronicles 15:12). Jehoshaphat set his face to seek the LORD and proclaimed a fast (2 Chronicles 20:3). The word or idea recurs in at least 7 verses in 2 Chronicles.
