Remembrance is named in prayer in Philemon and in reminders addressed to established readers in 2 Peter.
For Faithful Remembrance, Philemon 1:4 says, “I thank my God always, making remembrance of you in my prayers.”
In 2 Peter 1:12, the speaker says he will always remind readers about things they know and in which they are established. The following verse calls it right, while he remains “in this tent,” to arouse them in remembrance (2 Peter 1:13).
