The passages address assemblies in Galatia and Thessalonica (Galatians 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:1), and one refers to an assembly in a house (Philemon 1:2). Ephesians speaks of saints being equipped for ministry and of the building up of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). Another passage asks for prayer that God may open a door for speaking the mystery of Christ (Colossians 4:3). A Thessalonian passage says that the word of the Lord sounded forth from them and that their faith toward God had gone out (1 Thessalonians 1:8).
