The Shunammite Woman in the Bible is a prominent woman at Shunem who urged Elisha to eat whenever he passed by. 2 Kings 4:8 She is also called “this Shunammite” when Gehazi calls her and she stands before Elisha. 2 Kings 4:12 Later, she travels to the man of God at Mount Carmel; seeing her from a distance, he identifies her as “the Shunammite.” 2 Kings 4:25
