Shobach commanded Hadadezer's army and was struck down by David at Helam.
Shobach is the commander of Hadadezer’s army named in the account of the Arameans at Helam. Hadadezer brought out Arameans from beyond the River, and Shobach was with them when they came to Helam 2 Samuel 10:16. After Aram fled before Israel, the passage says David struck down Shobach, who died there 2 Samuel 10:18.
His name occurs in at least two verses, both in 2 Samuel 2 Samuel 10:16; 2 Samuel 10:18.
