Shaphat

Shaphat is a man named in Numbers 13:5 as belonging to the tribe of Simeon and as the son of Hori. This identity is first and last named in that same verse, the only recorded reference supplied for him. The passage lists “Shaphat son of Hori” in its identification from Simeon’s tribe. His biblical footprint therefore consists of one named occurrence in one book, Numbers.
