also: Saul's Armor-Bearer, armor-bearer
Saul's armor-bearer is the unnamed servant who died after Saul's death in 1 Samuel 31.
Saul's Armor-Bearer in the Bible is the unnamed servant addressed by Saul during Saul's final scene in 1 Samuel 31:4. Saul tells him to draw his sword and kill him, but the armor-bearer refuses because he is afraid; Saul then falls on his own sword. When the armor-bearer sees that Saul is dead, he likewise falls on his sword and dies with him (1 Samuel 31:5). The passage includes him among those who died with Saul and Saul's three sons that day (1 Samuel 31:6).
The designation occurs in at least three verses, all in 1 Samuel.
