Philip, Brother of Herod Antipas is a Herodian prince identified as Herod Antipas’s brother and as Herodias’s husband. He is named in at least three verses across Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Matthew and Mark call Herodias Philip’s wife while describing Herod’s seizure and imprisonment of John; Mark adds that Herod had married her (Matthew 14:3; Mark 6:17). Luke refers to Herod as Philip’s brother in its listing of rulers (Luke 3:1).
