Pharaoh's Daughter

Pharaoh’s Daughter in the Bible is the 1 Kings person identified as the daughter of Pharaoh and as Solomon’s spouse. In 1 Kings 3:1, the text says that Solomon formed a marriage alliance with Pharaoh king of Egypt, took Pharaoh’s daughter, and brought her into the city of David. The same verse connects this action with the period before Solomon had finished building his own house, the house of the LORD, and the wall around Jerusalem.
