A Genesis genealogical figure identified as Mehujael’s son and Lamech’s father.
Methushael is a Genesis person named in a line of descent: Mehujael fathered him, and he fathered Lamech (Genesis 4:18). His name occurs in at least one verse, all in Genesis. The same verse places him after Mehujael and before Lamech in its stated sequence: Enoch, Irad, Mehujael, Methushael, and Lamech. This is the only supplied biblical reference for this person.
