Mattaniah

Mattaniah is a person named in Nehemiah as the parent of Zaccur, in the lineage given for Hanan. Nehemiah 13:13 names Hanan as “son of Zaccur son of Mattaniah” and says that Hanan assisted Shelemiah, Zadok, and Pedaiah, who had been put in charge of the storehouses. The passage says that those involved were considered trustworthy and that distribution to their brothers was their duty. Mattaniah is named in at least 1 verse, all in Nehemiah.
