Job

Job is a biblical person named in Ezekiel alongside Noah and Daniel. The passage says that, even if the three were present, they would rescue only their own lives by their righteousness Ezekiel 14:14. Ezekiel 14:20 says they could rescue neither son nor daughter Ezekiel 14:20. James refers to “the perseverance of Job” and says readers have seen the Lord’s goal, describing the Lord as compassionate and merciful James 5:11.
