Igdaliah

Igdaliah in the Bible is the person named in the expression “Hanan son of Igdaliah” in Jeremiah 35:4, where the passage also calls him “the man of God.” His name is recorded in at least one verse, all within the book of Jeremiah. In that verse, a chamber of the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah is described within the house of the LORD, beside chambers associated with officials and Maaseiah son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.
