An Acts king who permitted Paul to speak and commented to Festus on Paul's appeal.
Herod Agrippa II is the Acts king first named when he and Bernice arrived in Caesarea to pay their respects to Festus Acts 25:13. Also called Agrippa or King Agrippa, he is named in at least 16 verses in Acts. Agrippa said that he wished to hear Paul Acts 25:22 and later permitted Paul to speak for himself Acts 26:1. Paul told Agrippa that he had not been disobedient to the heavenly vision Acts 26:19, and asked whether he believed the prophets Acts 26:27. Agrippa asked Paul whether he was persuading him to become a Christian Acts 26:28. He told Festus that Paul could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar Acts 26:32.
