Hathach is one of the king's eunuchs who stood before Esther. Esther commanded him concerning Mordecai, seeking to know what had happened and why (Esther 4:5).
Hathach went out to Mordecai in the street before the king's gate (Esther 4:6). He later came and told Esther Mordecai's words (Esther 4:9). Esther then instructed Hathach to reply to Mordecai (Esther 4:10). Hathach is named in at least four verses, all in Esther.
