Delaiah son of Mehetabel

In the Bible, Delaiah son of Mehetabel is the Delaiah named within Shemaiah’s designation in Nehemiah 6:10. His name occurs in at least 1 verse, all in Nehemiah. In that passage, the narrator goes to Shemaiah’s house while Shemaiah is confined. Shemaiah proposes meeting inside the house of God and closing the temple doors, saying that people are coming to kill the narrator by night. The verse names Delaiah but gives no further account of him.
