Debir

Debir is the king of Eglon named in Joshua when Adoni-zedek, king of Jerusalem, sends a message to him and to the kings of Hebron, Jarmuth, and Lachish (Joshua 10:3). This Joshua king is named in at least 1 verse, all within the book of Joshua. The passage identifies him directly as “Debir king of Eglon” and includes him among the rulers addressed by Adoni-zedek (Joshua 10:3).
