Chedorlaomer

Chedorlaomer in the Bible is a Genesis figure identified as king of Elam in Genesis 14:1. He is named in at least 5 verses, all in Genesis. The passage says that people served Chedorlaomer for twelve years and rebelled in the thirteenth (Genesis 14:4). In the fourteenth year, he came with kings who were with him and struck several groups named in the text (Genesis 14:5). He stands among four kings opposed to five (Genesis 14:9). The king of Sodom later returned after striking Chedorlaomer and the kings with him (Genesis 14:17).
