Azaliah

Azaliah is the father of Shaphan, named in the account of workers sent to strengthen the house of the LORD. 2 Chronicles 34:8 identifies Shaphan as “son of Azaliah” and names him with Maaseiah and Joah in that assignment. Azaliah is named in at least one verse, all within 2 Chronicles. The supplied text gives no further description of Azaliah or of his own activities.
