Ahimelech in the Bible is the Hittite whom David addresses when asking who will go down with him to Saul in the camp. 1 Samuel 26:6 identifies him as “Ahimelech the Hittite” and places him alongside Abishai as David speaks. The verse records Abishai's reply that he will go down with David; it does not record a reply from Ahimelech. Ahimelech is named in at least 1 verse, all within 1 Samuel: 1 Samuel 26:6.
