Agabus is an Acts prophet named in connection with a coming famine and a later arrival from Judea.
Agabus in the Bible is a prophet named in Acts, first identified when he signifies through the Spirit that a great famine is about to come upon the whole world (Acts 11:28). The passage says that this famine took place upon Claudius. Agabus is named in at least two verses, both in Acts. In a later account, while others were staying somewhere for several days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea (Acts 21:10).
